Well the price certainly isnt the most important thing but I am not sure location is either.
I look for something I really like, if I dont love it I dont buy it, if I do it doesnt matter how much it costs I will buy it. That is not entirely true of couse but if I can find a way to obtain it I usually do.
I like the idea of this blog, I hope it works out well. How is Grant? I met him and bought something he painted when he was nine. A charming young gentleman. Take care, crone
Thanks so much for being our first poster to the blog!
Grant is "excellent" but a teenager now with other things taking his time like video games and listening to rap music. His interest in making art isn't as keen as it once was. I am building my own art studio in our back yard, about 200 sq. ft. and I hope this space may inspire him to come in and play! Deb
Quality is important. Do not want import knockoffs just because they're cheap. Art is to keep--cheap is just junk--why waste your money.
Agree with whistlingcrone, price matters, but if you want it you'll find a way to buy it.
Local artists, NW artists make sense, just like "shopping" local is about feeding the economy where you live. Out-of-town visitors expect to find NW artists when I bring them by.
Co-owner with my husband, Hugh, the Best place for Northwest arts and crafts for your home or as a gift. Over 200 talented artists featuring: paintings, pottery, jewelry, glass, prints, garden art, Northwest Native Art and much more!
